This painting references a still from the infamous Alien Autopsy footage, first aired in 1995 on the Fox special Alien Autopsy: Fact or Fiction?. It claimed to show a secret military examination of an extraterrestrial being allegedly recovered from the 1947 Roswell crash. The grainy black-and-white video features figures in hazmat suits performing a procedure on a humanoid body with exaggerated, alien-like features. Although later revealed to be a staged reconstruction by British producer Ray Santilli, who said it was based on deteriorated original footage, the clip remains one of the most iconic and controversial artifacts in UFO pop culture.
