Since 2008, Brendan (he/him) has worked with public and private organizations and individual collectors to build the legacy of creatives in Canada and beyond. De Montigny’s first commercial gallery was PDA Projects in 2014. Over the past decade, Brendan has curated more than 50 exhibitions featuring emerging, mid-career, and established artists. He was the finalist for the 2019 RBC Emerging Artist Award. Brendan holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Ottawa (2013) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University (2009), with a Major in Painting and drawing and a minor in Print Media. When not working, he is probably cycling, cooking, playing cribbage, or in a sauna.
Chantelle (she/her) holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Fraser Valley in British Columbia. With ten years of gallery experience, she has worked closely with the estates of renowned Canadian artists Gathie Falk, Fred Herzog, and Gordon Smith. She is passionate about making art more accessible and fostering meaningful dialogue around emerging artists and their practices.
Outside the gallery, Chantelle can often be found walking her dog along the Rideau Canal or taking a hot Pilates class.
Bridget Phillips (she/her) graduated from Stanford University with Bachelor's degrees in Art History and Comparative Literature. An artist/researcher working across photography, performance, and art history, she has collaborated with the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Cantor Arts Center, the Saugatuck Center for the Arts, the Vabamu Museum of Occupations and Freedom, and NeXT Experimental Theatre. Working with artists is her absolute favourite thing about art. When Bridget is not creating, you can find her at the disco or on her sofa, watching Turner Classic Movies with friends and family.
