The Team
Since 2008 Brendan A. de Montigny (he/him) has worked to build the legacy of creatives in Canada and beyond with public and private organisations and individual collectors.
Brendan holds a Master of Fine Art from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of Fine Art from Concordia University, with a Major in Painting & Drawing and a minor in Print Media.
Brendan lives on the un-ceded Anishinaabe Algonquin territory known as Gatineau, Quebec with his partner and son. When not working, how is probably cycling, cooking, or playing cribbage.
Rama (she/her) is an MA candidate in Contemporary Art Theory at the University of Ottawa. Her art historical research investigates how art made by AI is being used to legitimize AI’s supposed intellectuality. Beyond questioning AI’s place in the art world, her interests range from arts and technology to performance and conceptual art. She received her BA in art history from the University of Ottawa and looks forward to pursuing further graduate studies.
Rama recently co-curated the exhibition “Spanning the Divide” at the Ottawa Art Gallery and has an article set to release in Nosy Mag’s upcoming publication “Dreams & Demands” this August.
When Rama isn’t revising her thesis, you can find her pouring over books at any local cafe or running to catch the latest gallery opening.
Maxime (he/him) holds a Master of Fine Art from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Université du Québec en Outaouais, with a Major in Visual Art and a minor in Graphic Design.
