Dalmer emulates CRT (cathode ray tube) footage by meticulously painting individual red, green, and blue (RGB) swatches, which vary in opacity and value. Using this technique, he mimics the distinct flickering aesthetic of analog footage. In this series, Dalmer pulls from cult-ified TV and movie scenes, putting the physicality of the digital into conversation with each other and blurring lines between these realms.
