Treating the Pacific Northwest forest floor as a character in itself, Troy Moth’s work confronts his family’s history of logging Vancouver Island’s coastal forests for generations. His photographic moments and discarded salvaged wood sculptures transform nature and questions our relationship to it.  

Troy Moth’s award-winning photographer and director. He exhibited internationally and is part of many corporate and institutional collections including the Art Gallery of Victoria. He has collaborated with publications like Rolling Stone and Vogue. His recent work as a filmmaker has been showcased at festivals around the globe. Troy has received many awards including, Magenta Flash Forward, Applied Arts, and Toronto Alternative Film Festival for best director.
