11.25 x 3 x 11 in.
2024

“Sea Level” is fabricated from 30 pieces of different heights. Rooted in pulling from research and data, these represent the global mean sea level for the years 1994 through 2023.

“Sea Level” is from a suite of  sculptures entitled “Earth, Air, Fire and Water.” This collection is part of Leslie Hossack’s latest series INFERNO.

Here Hossack exposes objectively measurable aspects of climate changes such as melting Arctic ice, rising sea levels, unprecedented wildfires, hazardous air quality and scorching temperatures.
