Jennifer Lefort est née à Montréal et travaille maintenant à Gatineau. Reconnue pour son travail en abstraction, l’artiste était finaliste en 2018 pour le Prix en art actuel du MNBAQ. En 2016 elle a remporté le prix du CALQ pour l’œuvre de l’année en Outaouais pour son exposition Le nouvel atelier, présentée à la Galerie UQO. En 2024-25 la Castellani Art Museum aux États-Unis a présenté sa première exposition individuelle muséale. D’autres distinctions ont précédé celles-ci, dont le prix Joseph Plaskett en peinture. Au cours des dernières années, sont travail a été présenté au Canada et dans plusieurs villes américaines, dont Miami, Los Angeles et Dallas ainsi qu’à Bâle en Suisse. Jennifer Lefort est aussi représentée par la galerie Mindy Solomon à Miami.

In recent years, her work has been shown in Canada and in several American cities including Miami, Los Angeles and Dallas, as well as in Basel, Switzerland.
