Christos Pantieras


Christos Pantiears’ artwork reveals the untold stories of wanting to make connections with others. As a gay man, who is first-generation Greek Canadian, he uses analog processes to record the intimacy of human presence and to explore the resonance of lost connections.

Christos Pantiears received an MFA from York University (Toronto, ON ) in 2015. Pantieras has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, and his work is collected by the City of Ottawa, the Ottawa Art Gallery, the Diefenbunker: Canada's Cold War Museum, and by private collectors. He has received professional grants from the Canada Council of the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, and the City of Ottawa.
